And that's exactly what Grandpa did!
He took this bunch of boys out to a baseball game!
And not just any baseball game. . .
A GIANTS GAME!
And not just any Giants game. . .
A game that TIM LINCECUM was pitching in!

I think these boys are ready for the game to start.
Look at that view of the Bay Bridge!
Giants Lost, (and Lincecum stunk it up that night) but it didn't matter. . .
It's still talked about in our house.
"remember when we went to the Giants game?"
And just so you know I'm not lying about how much we talk about baseball in our home. . .
The other night Kara was ready for bed, but I needed to stall for 20 minutes more before putting her to bed so I asked her if she would like to watch a Mickey Mouse before bed. Normally she jumps at this chance, but for some reason this particular night she said "no".
I said what do you want to watch (thinking of course she would say some Disney Princess Movie) - no she fired back with. . .
"the Giants game"!
And this is the kicker of all comments from Kristopher.
You know when the kids were little they would quiz each other on everything baseball related.
Kale would say "Atlanta" and Kris would say "Braves"
then it matured into stadiums. . .
Kale would say "Fenway" and Kris would say "Red Sox"
they knew stats, stadiums, teams, everything I thought you could know about baseball. . .
but the other day Kris popped out a new stat one that he learned from who knows where when he said this. . .
"Kale, you know Buster Posey's wife Kristen. . . ."
I don't even know what came after that - just when I thought he knew all there was to know - now he knows the players wives names!
