Christmas In September at the Beach House. . .

There are two things that always happen when we are at the Beach House. . .
One is Theme Night (we'll get to that later)
and the other is
CHRISTMAS IN SEPTEMBER!

Grandma and Grandpa are Santa's Elves and they come trudging up the stairs jingling their bells (jingle bells in case you were wondering) pass out Santa Hats (which we are all required to wear) and hand out Christmas Gifts to us all!

This year Kale and his cousin Emily (the two oldest grandchildren) were chosen to help in distributing the gifts.
Here he is sporting his elf t-shirt that Grandma made him!
Kris being Kris!
He loves that hat!

A brief moment of happiness from Karalyn.
You wouldn't believe what it took to get her to put that hat on,
but like I said (it's a requirement)!

Every year us daughters and daughter in laws tell our "mom" to not go overboard, and every year she does. . . but she does it out of love and we love her for it.

When you see the look above of pure joy from getting something as simple as fairy wings, you know it's worth it!

And here's proof that she wrapped over 200 gifts this year for Christmas.

My name is Kaylynn
Her name is Kathleen

I love that she was writing so many names on so many gifts that this is what I got!

Thanks Grandma (and Grandpa) for a Wonderful Christmas in September!
