Weddings, Reflections, and Anniversaries

Last weekend Kyle and I went to a wedding.

And we drove over 2 hours to get there.

And we drove through some of the best "old" towns I have ever seen.
And in those "old" towns they had some amazing "old" churches.

And we finally arrived. . .
And this sign greeted us.
I like to call it "the towns priorities!"

The wedding was beautiful.
The bride rode in on a white horse.
The couple was so happy.
The food and cake were amazing.
And we had so much fun.
Kyle even ran into the parents of one of his best friends from high school.
Really we had a great night.

And as we were driving home we couldn't help but talk about our wedding 12 years earlier.
I didn't ride in on a white horse,
although the color white played a key role in our wedding.
Our day was just as beautiful.
Our cake was just as amazing.
And we were just as happy, maybe even happier.

And 12 years later we're still just as happy (and beautiful). . .  right hun?
Happy Anniversary!

I forgot that Kyle was 12 when you got married. :) Sheesh! You both look so young! That day doesn't seem like it was that long ago, but time goes by fast when you're old like us, right? :) Hope you're doing something fun for #12!

That's awesome! We celebrate our anniversary next week. Isn't it crazy, it's been that long since we were all in college being silly! Miss you guys!

I love how in love Kyle is with you in those pictures. The last one is the best! I only knew Kyle as his little sister's annoying friend (who had a crush on him) and thought he was incapable of liking girls...you proved me wrong! Happy Anniversary! You are such a perfect couple. :)

Wait, was that inappropriate? It was not meant to be....just honest. It was a compliment all the way around.

Congrats on 12 years! It's crazy how time is flying by so quickly. I remember when you guys got engaged--it seems like it was just yesterday!
